Hello Leesville Road High School Parents,

All first semester teachers will make 2010-2011 course recommendations for all freshmen, sophomores and juniors in their classes by January 15. Any parent wishing to see their child’s recommendations by their first semester teachers can view them through the SPAN system. A hard copy printout of your child’s recommendations will be sent home after he or she meets with their counselor. Juniors will receive their hard copy after meeting with their counselor in March. Sophomores and freshmen will receive their hard copies in April. Second semester teacher recommendations will also be available through the SPAN system once they have been completed. Course waivers will be required this year if you choose for your child to take a class the teacher has not recommended. We strongly suggest you follow the teacher’s recommendation. If you complete a course waiver form for you student, they will not be allowed to drop the course. If you have questions, please email your student’s counselor.
