LRHS PRIDE PRODUCTIONS BOOSTER CLUB

The Pride Productions Booster Club is a group designed to nurture and support the growth and development of the Drama Department at LRHS. We are committed to supporting the educators and students who participate in all aspects of theatre in order to further their passion for the fine arts. We firmly believe that empowering our young people to always dare to dream and to believe in themselves is truly invaluable. To be a part of that is nothing short of a privilege. We as a booster club are designed to support all aspects of stage performances, drama competitions, educational trips, the Pride Productions scholarship fund, and International Thespian Society Troupe #5540 induction ceremonies. We assist the department in creating fall dramas that teach classics such as Shakespeare and Mary Shelly, winter dessert theatres that allow students self expression, and an amazing spring musical from well known Broadway productions like Rogers and Hammerstein and Walt Disney. In addition, the spring musical incorporates other areas of the Fine Arts Department such as dance, choir, and orchestra. This fosters a spirit of unity that is quite phenomenal. The drama department students learn all aspects of being on stage and performance, along with completely undertaking all of the backstage technical creations that build the foundation of each production. To take a snapshot of what the group has accomplished in the last several years is truly humbling, and we extend our greatest wishes for you to join us on this journey.

  Fall Productions Spring Musicals
2004-2005 “Rebel Without A Cause” “Wizard of OZ”
2005-2006 “Frankenstein 1930” “Beauty and the Beast”

2007-2008 “Father of the Bride” “My Fair Lady”
2008-2009 “A Midsummer Night's Dream” “Guys and Dolls”

We encourage all parents of students in any of these areas to join Pride Productions so that they are informed with the most up to date information that may be happening with each production, as well as have the privilege of having access to pre - sale tickets for the best seats for the shows. Another benefit is a free 2 line personal text message for your student in EACH program (a $20.00 value). Our membership fee this year is $30.00 but the memories are a bargain at any price.
