The SENIOR SLIDE SHOW WILL BE PRESOLD FOR $5.00 (NOT 4.50) during all all three lunches on Tuesday, May 13th and Wednesday May 14th only. There will be no post sales. DVD's can be picked up during lunches on Tuesday, May 27th.
French Club members and students of French who would like to be an officer of the French Club next year should sign up with Madame Vertreese in room 260 this week.
Bowling Club will meet tomorrow Wednesday May 14 2:45 at AMF Pleasant Valley Lanes. Please be on time and bring $5.00.

The Leesville Varsity Girls Soccer team carries a 20-2 record into round 3 of the states tonight at home against Chapel Hill High School at 6:30. All support is very welcome.
Attention Cast and Crew attending NC Theatre's Capital Awards on May 19. There is a rehearsal Wednesday at 2:30 in the auditorium for "Get Me to the Church on Time." You will need to pick up permission slip.
Jostens will be here to deliver graduation announcement orders and gaps and gowns on Thursday May 15th. Your balance must be paid in full before you can receive your order. If you have a balance, it may be paid by cash, money order, or certified check. No personal checks can be accepted.
The Africentric Club will meet Thursday May 15 iin room 117 2:30. It is important that all members attend because we will be holding elections for next year.

Environmental Club will have its last meeting of the year on Thursday May 15th. We will be having officer elections for next year.
Raleigh Jaycees Scholarship Program: This scholarship sponsored by the Raleigh Jaycees, promotes student achievement for students who have demonstrated "Leadership Development through Community Service." There are two $750 scholarships available. Leesville can submit two names for this scholarship. Interested seniors should submit a resume to Mr. Greene in Student Services by May 20.
Phi Lamba Educational Foundation Scholarship: This scholarship is for African American male high school seniors with good scholastic and leadership records who have been accepted at a 4 year college or university. Applications are in the Career Center and the deadline to apply is May 27, 2008.

Auditions for next year's dance ensemble will be held this Thursday from 2:30-4:30pm. If you had previously signed up for Mondays audition, this has been cancelled. Please see Ms. Hoban if you have questions about the audition schedule. All dancers interested in auditioning must have a completed application. Sign up sheet and application forms are available outside the black box.
There will be an NHS meeting on Wednesday May 14th at 2:30 in the cafeteria. Seniors will be receiving their graduation cords and Juniors will vote for next year's officers. Seniors who cannot attend this meeting should plan on picking up their cords on Thursday or Friday of next week.
Human Rights Club will be having a meeting on Thursday May 15th. It will be the final meeting of the year. We will be picking officers so make sure to be there! If you ordered a t-shirt, we will be distributing them at the meeting. Come to the last meeting at 2:30 room 129.
Elections for Spanish Club Officers will be Thursday May 22nd. If you are interested in becoming a Spanish Club Officer for the 2008-2009 school year, please stop by room 209 and sign up. You must currently be a Spanish Club member and you must be taking Spanish next year. Please direct your questions to Sr. Weber.
Letter Jacket orders will be taken on Wednesday May 14th during all three lunch periods. This will be the last day of the year to order letter jackets. Order forms can be picked up at the main office.
The next Key Club general meeting is on Tuesday May 13 in the cafeteria at 2:30. Please bring your dvd's for veterans and supplies for the Boys and Girls Home. To receive service hours, you must bring these materials to the meeting. Any materials you can collect is most appreciated.
Class of 2009, it is time to submit your ideas for the senior class t-shirt contest. Pick up forms outside room 223. The winner will receive a free t-shirt and a Bojangles breakfast. The contest ends on May 16, so pick up your form today.
For any Seniors who did not pick up their caps and gowns yesterday, Jostens will be back May 15th at 2:30. Also, the senior picnic will be May 23rd after the senior assembly, not May 28.
Any returning girls basketball player who wants to participate in summer league should pick up a form in Coach Ross's room. All completed forms are due May 23. Thanks!
There will be no central Wake County site for summer school this year. Each school will be responsible for administering the summer school program at its site. There are limited seats available. Priority will be given to seniors who need credits in order to graduate. Classes will be conducted on NovaNET, a computer assisted instructional program. Please contact Mrs. Credle if you have any questions. The dates for summer school are: July 2nd through August 7th. Monday - Thursday (no Friday classes) 8:00 am - 11:30 am morning session and 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm afternoon session.
SENIORS: Please inform the Guidance Office of any scholarship awards rec'd regardless of your intention to accept. We will recognize all scholarships rec'd by seniors at the senior assembly.
